Job Description

Xelerated is seeking skilled test engineer with knowledge and experience of link and network layer protocols. You will work with test of all aspects of our network processor and associated software. The network processors perform packet processing in switch and router systems. It is important that you have a huge interest in working with network solutions and a good understanding of hardware testing as well as and software testing for embedded systems.

You will report to the VP of Software Systems Development

Specific Tasks will Include

• Test of Xelerated's network processors and associated reference hardware designs
• Test of middleware and driver software as well as protocol implementations for the network processors
• C/C++, Tcl, Python programming for developing test cases and test frameworks
• Writing test specifications and protocols
• Customer demonstrations and support to technical personnel at remote offices

Work Experience and Education

• MSc EE, MSc CS or equivalent required
• Minimum 3 years professional experience working with test of hardware and software systems
• Experience of testing software for embedded communication systems.
• Experience from programming in C/C++, Tcl, Python as well as assembly level
• Knowledge of switch and router systems and communications protocols such as Ethernet, IP, TCP and MPLS
• Knowledge of Linux is meriting
• Good skills in written and spoken English
