Client Manager to Comptel Communications

Comptel is looking for a Client Manager to Comptel’s Danish operations, based out of Stockholm, Sweden.
Client Manager is a key customer facing role, focussing around Comptel’s existing business and accounts. The Client Manager role is absolutely vital for high customer satisfaction. Client Manager is a very visible, rewarding and challenging position with lots of responsibility and interaction with customers.
A Client Manager has both sales targets for Change Requests and Support & Maintenance, as well as delivery responsibilities for services and projects.
Client Manager spends extensive time at customer site, maintaining both commercial and technical relationships. Comptel delivers as well through its partner network and maintaining partner relationships similar to customer ones is required.
Client Manager takes part in the account planning (own accounts and region) and works closely together with Sales, Business Development and Solution Architects within the region. Client Manager furthermore cooperates internally with the European Service Centre, Product and Solutions Units and Finance.
During deliveries, Client Manager is in a Project Manager role and might occasionally be used for projects outside the own region.
To be successful in this position, you need to have excellent organisation and communication skills and an ability to influence and negotiate. While continuously engaging with customers as well as internally, you will ensure prospecting, sales and profitable delivery of changes and support.
The Client Manager tasks include:
- Account planning
- Create demand and ensure Comptel’s (technical) position through roadmap planning
- Sales planning and forecasting (Changes, S&M)
- Proposal to cash activities
- Delivery planning, tracking and reporting (incl. risk management)
- Task resourcing together with European Service Centre
To be a successful Client Manager we expect you to have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer interfacing role, or within telecom/IT domain
- Ability to take responsibility and demonstrate leadership
- Ability to use well structured and standardised processes and techniques
- Excellent communication and management skills
- Familiarity with software projects, design, software integration and planning
- Multitasking and prioritising skills
- Good presentation and documentation skills
- PM certification and/or telecom experience (operator or SI) is an asset
Naturally good command of oral and written English is prerequisite.
